Faith No More

They were one of the most influential bands of my teen years and in my opinion of all times. They broke up about ten years ago but those ten years had no effect on the magic, I think their music is still as relevant today as ever was and I usually rediscover them from time to time. You have to dig deep in your music library cause you never know what gems lie deep in it.
Anyway now they are back, the full line-up, first at Download Festival here in the UK but they will feature Nova Rock in Austria as well.
Enjoy it while you can.

Last Cup of Sorrow

This is getting old
and so are you.
Everything you know
and never knew.
Will run through your fingers
just like sand.

Enjoy it while you can.

Like a snake between two stones
it itches in your bones.
Take a deep breath and swallow
your sorrow
tomorrow.

So raise it up and lets propose a toast.
To the thing that hurts you most.

It's your last cup of sorrow.
What can you say?
Finish it today.
It's your last cup of sorrow.
So think of me
and get on your way.

It won't begin
until you make it end.
Until you know the how the where and the when.
With a new face you might surprise yourself.

Like a snake between two stones
it itches in your bones.
take a deeper breath and swallow
your sorrow
tomorrow.

So raise it up and lets propose a toast.
To the thing that hurts you most.

It's your last cup of sorrow.
what can you say?
Finish it today.
It's your last cup of sorrow.
So think of me
and get on your way!

You might surprise yourself
You might surprise yourself

Drafts

I have a dozen or so posts saved as draft but they are so dark that you cannot read them on this black background. I decided that I will keep the shitty depressing stuff for myself. The therapy is private. Have a nice day.

Neal Stephenson: Diamond Age

Conformity and rebellion...both ways are simple-minded--they are only for people who cannot cope with contradiction and ambiguity.
Neal Stephenson The Diamond Age

Another masterpiece, at least from my point of view, strange and wonderful mix between cyberpunk and fairy tale with a scope far beyond both. Perfect candidate for anyone's bookshelf.
